Part-Time Registered Nurse - Operating Room

Role: Registered Nurse (RN) in Perioperative Care, specializing in General Surgery within the Operating Room.

• Provide high-quality, safe, and individualized patient care by performing the nursing process and utilizing evidence-based practices.
• Partner with patients and families through effective communication, education, and collaborative care planning.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary team efforts, ensuring clear documentation and fostering a respectful, inclusive environment.
• Support performance improvement, participate in research, and uphold organizational policies and standards.
• Mentor and serve as preceptor for other nurses and healthcare staff, promoting professional development.
• Contribute to protocol development and resource management to optimize patient outcomes.

• Associates or Bachelor's Nursing degree (Bachelor's preferred).
• Current RN license (single-state or multi-state compact).
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS.
• Minimum of 5 years of direct patient care nursing experience.
• Knowledge of clinical standards, regulatory requirements, and evidence-based practices.

This role involves day shifts (Monday to Friday, 6:45 am - 3:15 pm) with call responsibilities. Candidates should be proactive, team-oriented, and committed to continuous professional growth.
