Role: Registered Nurse (RN) in the Orthopedic Surgical Unit, providing high-quality, safe, patient-centered care within an interdisciplinary team.
Responsibilities: Utilize evidence-based nursing processes for assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Partner with patients and families through effective communication and relationship-based care. Promote teamwork, documentation, and a respectful clinical environment. Support performance improvement initiatives, participate in research, and serve as a preceptor or mentor. Plan and develop protocols to optimize patient outcomes, and ensure resource efficiency. Uphold clinical standards, organizational policies, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Qualifications & Skills: Associates or Bachelor's in Nursing preferred; active RN license (single or multi-state); BLS certification; less than 1 year of clinical experience required; strong critical thinking, collaboration, and communication skills. Ability to implement evidence-based practices and engage in professional development.
