Registered Nurse - Circulating - Operating Room

Role: The RN Clinical Periop Nurse provides high-quality, safe patient care in the operating room, collaborating within an interdisciplinary team to ensure individualized care based on evidence-based practices.

• Perform nursing assessments, diagnoses, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
• Deliver relationship-based, patient-centered care respecting cultural diversity.
• Partner with patients and families through effective communication and education.
• Coordinate safe, quality care, documenting accurately and promoting teamwork.
• Support performance improvement initiatives and participate in research activities.
• Serve as preceptor or mentor to foster a skilled workforce.
• Adhere to organizational policies, standards, and safety protocols.

• Minimum of 5 years of direct patient care nursing experience.
• Current RN licensure (single or multi-state compact).
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS.
• Preferred education:
  
  Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
• Strong critical thinking, collaboration, and professional development skills.

• Support resource management, protocol development, and participation in performance improvement and shared governance activities.
