Registered Nurse (RN) - Weekend Emergency Department

Role Overview

The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Emergency Department provides high-quality, safe, and individualized patient care as a proactive member of an interdisciplinary team. They practice according to professional standards, evidence-based practices, and organizational policies, ensuring optimal patient outcomes and promoting a respectful, inclusive environment.

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments, diagnoses, planning, implementation, and evaluation using evidence-based practices.
• Deliver relationship-based, patient-centered care tailored to diverse populations, involving patients and families in care planning.
• Coordinate safe, quality care through effective interdisciplinary communication, documentation, and teamwork.
• Support performance improvement initiatives, participate in research and data collection, and promote evidence-based practice.
• Serve as a preceptor or mentor to foster professional growth and uphold a healthy work environment.
• Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and safety standards, including accreditation requirements.

• Associates or Diploma in Nursing required;
  Bachelor’s preferred.
• Valid RN license and required certifications (BLS, PALS, TNCC, ACLS) upon hire.
• Minimum of 5 years RN experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, critical thinking, and time management skills.
• Proficiency in clinical technology and documentation.
