Role:
The RN Clinical Nurse provides high-quality, safe patient care in a clinical environment, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to ensure individualized care outcomes. They practice in accordance with state nursing laws, professional standards, and organizational policies, emphasizing evidence-based practice, cultural competence, and patient-centered relationships.
Responsibilities:They perform the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—while promoting teamwork, documentation, and a respectful clinical environment. They support performance improvement initiatives, serve as preceptors or mentors, and participate in research and evidence-based activities. They also assist in developing protocols and optimizing resource use.
Qualifications:An associate’s degree in nursing (bachelor’s preferred), valid RN license, multi-state licensure, and Basic Life Support certification are required. Less than one year of clinical experience is acceptable, with direct patient care experience preferred.
