Summary:

The RN Clinical Nurse is a vital member of an interdisciplinary team providing high-quality, safe, and patient-centered care. They perform the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation, utilizing evidence-based practices and critical thinking. The role emphasizes relationship-based care tailored to diverse populations, fostering collaboration with patients and families to achieve optimal outcomes.

• Coordinate and document safe, quality care using inclusive communication methods and timely documentation.
• Promote teamwork, participate in performance improvement, and support shared governance initiatives.
• Engage in professional development, serve as a preceptor or mentor, and uphold clinical competencies and organizational policies.
• Advance evidence-based practice, participate in research activities, and ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and accreditation standards.
• Plan proactively for patient care across the continuum, develop protocols, and optimize resource use.

• Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing; RN licensure (single or multi-state).
• Minimum of 5 years of RN experience, with direct patient care preferred.
• Certifications include BLS and applicable state licenses.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and team collaboration skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating critical thinking, time management, and responsiveness to emergencies.
