Registered Nurse; RN MedSurg Acute Care​/Post Surgical​/Burn​/Bariatric – Nights

Role Overview: The RN Resident is responsible for providing high-quality, compassionate patient care during a 12-month Nurse Residency Program. Under supervision, they apply the nursing process, utilizing evidence-based practices and critical thinking to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver patient and family-centered care tailored to diverse populations, fostering engagement and partnership.
• Coordinate safe, quality care through effective interdisciplinary communication, documentation, and teamwork.
• Participate in ongoing professional development, serve as a preceptor or mentor, and support a healthy work environment.
• Promote evidence-based practice, research, and performance improvement activities aligned with organizational standards and regulations.
• Assist in developing protocols, optimize resource use, and contribute to care improvement initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Diploma or graduation from an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• Current RN licensure (single or multi-state license) and BLS certification required upon hire.
• Less than one year of RN experience preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, teamwork, and a commitment to quality and safety standards.
