Registered Nurse – Acute Care MedSurg Oncology – Charge Nurse – Nights

• Directs and coordinates staff activities, makes patient assignments, and manages unit resources.
• Rounds on patients, evaluates care quality, and implements corrective actions as needed.
• Collaborates with physicians, staff, and leadership to optimize patient flow and safety.
• Participates in performance improvement, research, and evidence-based practice initiatives.
• Mentors team members, supports professional development, and serves as a role model.
• Ensures compliance with policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Participates in unit staffing, resource planning, and clinical protocol development.

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• Current licensure as a registered nurse (multi-state license preferred).
• Certifications:
  
  BLS required; ACLS preferred or required depending on role.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience; relief charge experience preferred.
• Strong clinical expertise, leadership skills, effective communication, and teamwork capabilities.

Supports patient safety, documentation accuracy, and participation in hospital-wide initiatives. Acts as a resource for staff and promotes a collaborative, respectful work environment.
