Registered Nurse – Acute Care – Medsurg Oncology

The RN Clinical Nurse provides high-quality, safe, and patient-centered care within an interdisciplinary team on an oncology unit specializing in adult inpatient cancer treatments. They utilize evidence-based practice, critical thinking, and the nursing process to deliver individualized care, partnering with patients and families to meet care goals.

• Perform assessments, diagnoses, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
• Coordinate care through effective communication and documentation, ensuring adherence to clinical standards and policies.
• Support professional development by mentoring colleagues and maintaining competencies.
• Promote evidence-based practice, participate in research, and contribute to quality improvement activities.
• Plan and support patient care across the continuum, developing protocols to improve outcomes and reduce adverse events.

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing required;
  Bachelor’s preferred.
• Current RN license (single or multi-state), BLS certification required.
• Less than 1 year of clinical experience preferred.
• Strong communication, computer, and interpersonal skills; ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and respond to emergencies decisively.
