Job SummaryThe Forklift Technician is responsible for performing routine maintenance on industrial equipment, including forklifts, scissor lifts, tuggers, floor scrubbers and golf carts. The technician troubleshoots equipment failures, performs root‑cause analysis, and completes repairs following manufacturer guidelines. Work is performed under the field service platform, Field Connect, and documented with accurate timekeeping and service records.
Key Job Responsibilities- Maintain and repair a variety of industrial mobile equipment.
- Troubleshoot failures and conduct root cause analysis, researching warranty and rework options via Field Connect data.
- Complete all repairs timely and according to manufacturer specifications.
- Make judgment and decision points regarding relative costs and benefits of options.
- Perform equipment audits per the PM Planning tools schedule in Field Connect.
- Communicate status to supervisors, coworkers, and subordinates via phone, email, or in person.
- Finish all work orders and service records accurately within Concentric time standards.
- Enter work hours accurately in Paylocity time‑keeping platform.

Safety- All work must be completed in a safe manner.
- Adhere to safety requirements from customers and Concentric.
- Maintain safe work areas that are clean and organized daily.
- Complete safety training modules on time.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
- Strong mechanical and/or electrical repair skills for equipment.
- Proven experience in electric forklift repair, primarily working on electric trucks.
- Willingness and ability to travel to multiple sites.
- Hydraulics and conveyor experience is a plus.
- Self‑motivated with strong time‑management skills; able to work with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication skills for work‑order documentation and customer interaction.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with using a computer.
- Able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds and maneuver in confined areas.
- Ability to meet the physical requirements of a Service Technician.
- Willingness to learn and receive training.
- Valid driver’s license; CDL is a plus but not required.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
