, a leading beverage distributor, is now hiring a Route Driver at our Austell/Atlanta facility. Starting Salary: $54,000.
Bonus Potential: $1,500.

• Coordinates and plans delivery routes and delivers products to service customers.
• Drives truck to deliver items such as beer, wine, liquor, and point-of-sale items to customers’ place of business.
• Collects returnable items and empty containers from businesses and transports them back to the distribution center for consolidation and shipment to suppliers.
• Inspects loads and ensures proper packing and security to reduce product breakage and vehicle damage.
• Conducts an inventory of truck contents; retrieves overages and accounts for shortages.
• Reviews truck contents to ensure the vehicle is loaded correctly.
• Checks the distribution of weight and product on the vehicle to ensure safety and stability.
• Collects and coordinates payments from customers and records transactions on customer receipts.
• Records delivery information using provided delivery records.
• Listens to and resolves service complaints; resolves issues when possible.
• Coordinates customer comments and service issues with transportation management for proper resolution.
• Issues or obtains customer signature on receipts for pickup or delivery.
• Provides preventative maintenance and safety checks on the vehicle by conducting DOT-regulated pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Proficient in the use of telematics devices, including delivery routes and driver logs.
• Other duties as assigned by Transportation Management.

• High school diploma or GED; or 1-3 months related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Valid Driver’s License and the ability to obtain a DOT Card.
