Distribution Center Associate – Austell, GeorgiaWe are seeking a Distribution Center Associate who will work in a team environment on the distribution center floor, handling inbound and outbound orders, operating material handling equipment, and maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
What You'll Be Doing- Assist with planning and arranging of goods within the distribution center as required by the Warehouse Management System (WMS) or by the supervisor/manager.
- Operate material handling equipment to move product within the warehouse in a manner that meets company standards for safety, security, productivity, and accuracy.
- Follow all safety procedures to ensure a safe work environment.
- Assist with the receipt, storage, retrieval, and timely dispatch of goods.
- Pick and pack customer orders ensuring accuracy of quantity and quality of product.
- Oversee stock control and processing orders.
- Organize product on pallets for proper storage as well as shipping orders.
- Minimum 18 years old.
- Able to move and/or lift up to 70 pounds consecutively unassisted.
- Communicate with other associates in a professional and courteous manner.
- Team player who enjoys working in a collaborative environment.
- Distribution experience.
- Lift truck experience.
- RF device experience.
- Shipping and receiving experience.
