Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a dedicated Property Accounting Clerk to join their team. As a Property Accounting Clerk, you will be an integral part of the finance and operations department supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proactive initiative, excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and proficiency with computer applications such as Excel, EAM, and Oracle, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: Property Accounting Clerk
Location: Austin, MN
Pay: $18.75/hour
Shift: Monday – Friday, 6:00 a.m.
- 2:30 p.m.
What's the Job?
- Perform and document physical asset inventories to ensure alignment between book records, EAM, and Oracle systems.
- Ensure all new assets are tagged within 60 days of arrival at the Austin Plant, Annex, and Albert Lea Select Foods facilities.
- Accurately document and communicate junked assets, disposals, and transfers in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with plant and corporate teams to facilitate the timely closeout of capital projects for the Austin Plant and Annex.
- Maintain locks and keys for the facilities, including documentation of critical and non-critical keys following established policies.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively across teams.
- Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Willingness to seek information proactively from team members to resolve issues and stay on track.
- Proficiency in computer applications such as Excel, EAM, and Oracle.
