HR TRAINER - AUSTIN PLANT
This position reports to the 2nd shift Human Resources Generalist and will work closely with HR and the Night Operation Managers and Production Managers. The rotating work schedule for this position is from Monday - Friday 3:00 p.m.
-11:30 p.m. and occasional changes for training. If awarded position, will need to be forklift certified.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The person in this position:
* Conducting trainings centering around Company policies, benefits, ergonomics, safety procedures including Lock-out Tag-out, HACCP (Hazardous Analysis Critical Control Point), Quality Control, and Food Safety.
* Floor walk & probationary employee touch points for early 3rd shift and 2nd shift.
* Acts as liaison to employees during the probationary period.
* Probationary employee evaluations and tracking
* Assists department Team Leaders in training employees in forklift, safety, and quality which may take place on the production floor or in a classroom.
* Other administrative tasks as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Possess unquestionable ability to maintain confidentiality.
* Ability to present effectively to groups.
* Ability to prioritize work and balance multiple tasks at once.
* Plant production experience.
* Ability to learn computer programs such as Windows and Microsoft Office applications.
* Withstand long periods of time working on your feet and walking on damp slippery floors.
* Ability to work in a climate-controlled environment with temperatures ranging from 30-40°F.
Preferred
* Demonstrated proficiency with PC and Windows and Microsoft Office applications.
* Ability to read, write, speak, and translate French, Burmese, Spanish, or other
