Position Title
General Production Associate
Category/ShiftHourly Full-Time. 2nd shift – 2:00pm - 10:00pm, 3rd Shift: 10:00pm - 6:00am. 24/5 Schedule (Monday - Friday). Weekend Availability Required.
Pay RateStarting Pay Rate – $23.30/hour for first 90 days. Up to $27.73/hour (plus $0.30 shift diff. for 2nd/3rd shift).
Physical LocationInternational Paper – Austin Box Plant, 1900 8th st NE, Austin, MN 50703.
The Job You Will Perform- Safe manufacturing procedures
- Operating fast-paced machinery
- Inspecting, counting and stacking finished product
- Reading manufacturing orders
- Accurately reading tape measures, gauges and other test equipment
- Utilizing basic shop math
- Accurately completing quality and administrative documents and following directions
- Clean-up functions such as blowing down machine, wiping off shafts, cleaning ink systems, vacuuming, sweeping machine area as well as picking up and shredding scrap
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- High school diploma/GED preferred or equivalent work experience
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus
