SANITATION TEAM LEADER - NIGHTS POSITIONS AVAILABLE (AUSTIN PLANT)

Responsibilities- Supervise the daily cleaning, sanitizing, and maintenance of equipment and facilities
- Ensure all procedures meet FDA, USDA, and FSQ regulations and company GMPs
- Manage team members in attaining production, safety, and quality goals.
- Supports continuous improvement processes to ensure that goals in safety, quality, cost, and customer service are met.
- Creates and maintains an engaged and team‑oriented workforce to improve business results.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning chemicals/supplies and ensure safe handling procedures
- Spends approximately 80% of the shift “on their feet” in the production area.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven leadership, persuasive, initiative, and analytical skills.
- Ability to prioritize work and balance multiple tasks at once.
- Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to work independently.
- Ability to analyze inventory and efficiencies to develop continuous improvement opportunities.
- Ability to present effectively to groups.
- Must be able to work on your feet and tolerate work in a cold environment.
- Previous experience in sanitation or as sanitation supervisor
- Approximately six weeks are spent in a hands‑on training environment before being assigned to a department.
- Team Leaders attend virtual Inspired Hires orientation. This will include presentations by different divisions to increase product knowledge, company knowledge, and leadership skills.
- 6‑month operational training program while on the job.
- Extended hours may be needed – including weekends.
Team Leaders will potentially work in environments below 40 degrees and in areas more than 60 degrees.
The base pay range for this position is $70,000 to 82,500 per year.
