Job Title
Job Coach – Work Therapy Technician (Direct Care and Treatment, CES Austin)
SummaryAssists individuals with cognitive/intellectual disabilities to obtain and maintain employment. Provides coaching, training, and supports independence through community engagement.
Responsibilities- Teach and coach participants in job and independent living skills, providing ongoing job support.
- Act as liaison between local businesses and program participants to secure employment and community‑based opportunities.
- Document and maintain participant activities, progress, and care data in standard forms and reports.
- Participate in daily operations to meet licensure, legal, and accreditation requirements and adhere to CBS/MSOCS policies.
- Implement services both in the community and at the program site to meet Department of Labor, MN State licensing, and CARF standards.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Current and valid driver’s license.
- Ability to read, write, and interpret reports, charts, and graphs.
- Basic math and computer skills.
- Clear communication skills.
- Experience implementing training or employment programs for individuals with cognitive/intellectual disabilities, mental illness, chemical dependency, physical disability, brain injury, and/or displaced workers.
