Senior Property Accountant

This is a growth role for a real estate accountant who wants to deepen their skill set, gain exposure to how assets actually operate, and grow alongside a scaling investment platform.

We’re partnering confidentially with a vertically integrated real estate investment and operating company that owns, develops, and manages high-quality assets across multiple U.S. markets. The platform works with institutional and family office capital.

They are hiring a Senior Property Accountant to take ownership of property-level accounting while learning directly from experienced leadership and partnering closely with asset management and operations. This role is designed for someone who is ready for more responsibility and visibility—but still wants mentorship and room to grow.

• Ownership of monthly close for a portfolio of real estate assets
• Journal entries, reconciliations, and property-level financial statements
• Budget-to-actual analysis and operating expense reviews
• Close coordination with property management on revenue and expenses
• Assistance with audits, tax reporting, and lender deliverables
• Exposure to intercompany accounting and multi-entity structures
• Participation in process improvements and system enhancements

• Has 2–5+ years of accounting experience with real estate exposure
• Is ready for a step up in ownership

• Property accounting or public accounting background with real estate clients
• Exposure to Yardi, MRI, App Folio, or similar industry systems
• CAM reconciliations or property-level reporting
