The Controller is responsible for the accounting operations of the company, including the production of timely periodic financial reports, the maintenance of an adequate set of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of internal controls. The primary focus is on maintaining accurate financial results in accordance with GAAP and IFRS.
They must be a collaborative problem-solver, providing leadership to the accounting team. To be successful, this individual must be able to communicate effectively across multiple teams as well as with key external stakeholders to provide critical information and partnership.

**** CORE ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
***** Oversee all accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts receivable/payable, inventory management, and revenue recognition
* Produce accurate and timely monthly financial reports and quarterly/annual schedules for the parent company
* Collaboration with Alamo internal departments to ensure the availability and accuracy of information.
* Develop and enforce strong internal control policies
* Identify opportunities to automate manual workflows to improve accuracy and reduce processing time
* Ensure compliance with sales tax, alcohol reporting, and local/state requirements
* Serve as primary audit liaison for parent company internal audits
* Mentor and develop the accounting team to foster excellence, accountability, collaboration, and transparency
**** QUALIFICATIONS
* **** Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, CPA preferred
* 8+ years of accounting and leadership experience
* Multi-unit experience is highly preferred
* Experience with the following software is valuable:
Net Suite, Crunch Time, and
* Strong technical accounting knowledge: US GAAP, IFRS
