Steven Douglas in engaged on a search for Director of Reporting & Technical Accounting to lead external reporting and technical accounting function. This is a high-visibility role with exposure to senior leadership, auditors, and cross-functional partners. The role will own SEC reporting, lead technical accounting matters, and help scale processes as we continue to grow as a global technology company. This position in based in Austin, Texas and will work on a hybrid schedule (3 days per week) in office.
What you’ll do:- Lead preparation of SEC filings (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, Proxy)
- Drive technical accounting research and implementation of new standards
- Own equity accounting, EPS, and diluted share calculations
- Partner with accounting, legal, and audit teams to ensure accurate, compliant reporting
- Strengthen internal controls and reporting processes
- CPA with Big 4 public accounting experience
- 8–12 years of SEC reporting and/or technical accounting experience
- Strong US GAAP and public company reporting expertise
