- Process biweekly or semi-monthly payroll for multi-state employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Review and audit payroll data including wages, bonuses, commissions, deductions, and tax with holdings
- Prepare and post payroll journal entries to the general ledger
- Reconcile payroll accounts, including wages payable, benefits accruals, payroll taxes, and 401(k) contributions
- Manage payroll tax filings and coordinate with third-party providers as needed
- Support month-end and year-end close activities, including W-2 preparation and audit requests
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations
- Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies and employee inquiries
