Accounting Manager

Our client is a fast-growing Austin-area company specializing in home organization, storage, and space design solutions. With strong growth plans over the next several years, they are looking for an Accounting Manager who wants to grow alongside the business and play a key role in its future success.

This role will oversee the company’s day-to-day accounting functions while partnering closely with leadership on reporting, forecasting, cash flow management, and operational decision-making. The ideal candidate is hands-on, proactive, and excited about working in a small, entrepreneurial environment where no two days look exactly the same.

This is a hybrid position with remote flexibility and in-office collaboration on Fridays.

• Manage the full accounting cycle including AP, AR, payroll, reconciliations, and sales tax
• Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports
• Track KPIs, cash flow, and forecasting
• Assist leadership with budgeting, financial planning, and business decision-making
• Help improve accounting processes and reporting as the company continues to scale
• Support vendor management, cost analysis, and other financial initiatives
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure smooth day-to-day accounting operations

• 3+ years of full-cycle accounting experience
• Strong understanding of financial reporting and accounting principles
• Experience working in a small business or entrepreneurial environment preferred
• Self-starter with strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of the accounting function
• Tech-savvy and interested in improving processes through technology and AI tools
• Willingness to jump in and help where needed in a growing company
