Staff Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support our day-to-day accounting operations. This role is ideal for an accounting professional with 1–3 years of experience who is looking to grow their career in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

The Staff Accountant will assist with month-end close activities, account reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable processes, and maintaining accurate financial records. The ideal candidate is organized, analytical, and eager to develop a strong foundation in corporate accounting.

• Prepare routine journal entries and maintain supporting documentation.
• Perform monthly bank and balance sheet account reconciliations.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
• Review financial transactions for accuracy and completeness.
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed.
• Assist with maintaining fixed asset records and depreciation schedules.
• Research and resolve accounting discrepancies.
• Maintain organized accounting records and documentation.
• Assist with audit requests and financial reporting support.
• Prepare recurring reports and schedules for management.
• Support process improvement initiatives within the accounting department.
• Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of accounting, bookkeeping, or finance experience.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Experience with Quick Books Online, Net Suite, Sage Intacct, or similar accounting software.
• Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, or general ledger accounting.
• Experience working in a healthcare or professional services environment.
• Salary Range: $55,000 – $70,000 annually
