Position overview
We're seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to support day-to-day financial operations. This role will begin with 5-6 weeks of hands-on training alongside the current team member before transitioning into full coverage. The position is expected to start in early August.

Key responsibilities
- Process high-volume invoices accurately and on time
- Manage vendor setup and maintain vendor records
- Review and reconcile accounts payable transactions
- Prepare and process weekly check runs and electronic payments
- Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve discrepancies
- Assist with month-end close activities related to AP
- Maintain organized financial records and documentation
- Partner with internal teams to ensure proper coding and approvals

Required qualifications
- Hands-on experience with Net Suite (required)
- 2+ years of accounting or accounts payable experience
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize tasks independently

Preferred (but not required)
- Additional accounting experience beyond AP
- Formal education in accounting or a related field
