Senior Accountant (Direct Hire)

LHH is partnering with a client to identify a Senior Accountant for a direct hire opportunity.

This role offers the chance to support multiple business units within a growing organization while playing a key role in month-end close, financial analysis, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accountant who enjoys working with large data sets, optimizing processes, and providing financial insights that support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Month-End Close & General Ledger Accounting

* Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities for multiple entities.

* Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, amortizations, and account reconciliations.

* Maintain accurate balance sheet reconciliations and supporting documentation.

* Analyze financial results, identify variances, and communicate findings to leadership.

* Support internal and external audits by providing timely and organized documentation.

Financial Analysis & Reporting

* Perform recurring and ad hoc financial analyses to support business decisions.

* Work with large and complex data sets to improve reporting accuracy and efficiency.

* Develop and enhance reporting tools, templates, and analytical models.

* Assist with maintaining internal controls and accounting procedures.

Systems & Process Improvement

* Support accounting operations across multiple ERP and financial systems.

* Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, improve reporting, and enhance data integrity.

* Participate in system enhancements, integrations, and standardization initiatives.

Cross-Functional Partnership

* Collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain, FP&A, Tax, and Corporate Accounting teams.

* Assist with special projects and strategic initiatives.

* Respond to internal requests and provide financial support across the organization.

Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.

* CPA or CPA-track preferred.

* 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.

* Strong general ledger, reconciliation, and financial close experience.

* Experience working in high-volume or multi-entity accounting environments preferred.

* Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required, including data analysis and reporting.

* Experience with ERP systems; exposure to multiple accounting platforms is a plus.

* Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP.

* Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
