Senior Accountant

A growing, project-based organization is seeking a Senior Accountant to support financial reporting, revenue recognition, project accounting, consolidations, and audit activities. This is a highly visible role that partners with accounting leadership and operational teams, offering the opportunity to make a significant impact on processes, reporting, and overall business performance.

• Manage month-end and quarter-end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Prepare and analyze revenue recognition, work-in-progress (WIP), and project profitability reporting.
• Partner with operations and project teams to review project costs, budgets, forecasts, and variances.
• Support multi-entity consolidations and preparation of consolidated financial statements.
• Assist with external audits, compliance requirements, and technical accounting research
• Improve accounting processes, internal controls, and reporting efficiencies.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow analysis, and management reporting.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to a collaborative accounting function

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience, including public accounting audit experience.
• Experience in construction, engineering, manufacturing, or other project-based environments preferred.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, revenue recognition, and financial reporting.
• Experience with consolidations and financial statement preparation.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience working with ERP systems.
• CPA or CPA-track preferred.
• Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
