Senior Accountant

Responsibilities

• Process journal entries and other accounting transactions
• Process expense report transactions
• Perform monthly reconciliations of balance sheet accounts
• Maintain overall accuracy and integrity of the general ledger
• Organize and maintain accounting files and records
• Perform monthly financial statement analytics
• Assist with the year‑end audit
• Participate in special projects to improve efficiency of accounting processes
• Respond to requests for financial/accounting information from all business functions

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting
• Minimum 2-5 years accounting experience
• Knowledge of GAAP principles
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as interpersonal skills
• Superior organization skills
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, etc.)
• Focus on managing time well and multi-task
• Team player and ability to collaborate with other departments
• Detailed oriented
• Self-starter with ability to work independently
• Ability to adapt in an environment where change is a constant
• Prior experience with Net Suite, Ramp, and Tipalti

Demonstrates expertise in accounting principles and practices, including GAAP, with a strong focus on financial analysis, reconciliation, and maintaining the integrity of financial records. Proficient in utilizing accounting software and tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting.
