LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a well-established, growing public accounting firm in the Austin area to identify a Senior Tax Accountant who is interested in long-term career growth and a potential partnership track opportunity
.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated tax professional who enjoys working closely with clients, handling complex tax engagements, and contributing to a collaborative, small-firm environment. The firm has built a strong reputation through referrals and continues to experience consistent growth.

• Prepare and review complex individual, partnership, corporate, and trust tax returns
• Manage multiple client engagements while maintaining high-quality standards and meeting deadlines
• Perform tax research and provide recommendations regarding federal and state tax matters
• Assist clients with tax planning strategies and compliance initiatives
• Communicate directly with clients regarding tax matters and information requests
• Review financial information and identify tax-saving opportunities
• Support partners with advisory projects and special client engagements
• Mentor and assist junior staff as needed

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA or EA designation required, or actively pursuing certification with significant progress toward completion
• 5+ years of public accounting tax experience
• Experience preparing and reviewing individual, partnership, corporate, and trust returns
• Strong knowledge of federal and state tax regulations
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• High attention to detail and commitment to client service
• Self-starter with a strong work ethic and desire for long-term professional growth

• Experience working in a small to mid-sized CPA firm
• Exposure to tax planning and advisory services
• Interest in developing client relationships and growing into a leadership role
• Desire to pursue a long-term career path with partnership potential
• $100,000 - $125,000 base salary, depending on experience
