As a Senior Accountant, you'll be involved in key accounting and reporting activities, collaborate with experienced finance leaders, and help drive process improvements in a fast-paced financial services environment.
ResponsibilitiesPrepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
Maintain general ledger accounts and ensure accuracy of financial records.
Support preparation of financial statements and management reporting packages.
Analyze balance sheet and income statement fluctuations and investigate variances.
Assist with audit preparation and coordinate requests from external auditors.
Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and strengthen controls.
Support intercompany accounting, accruals, prepaid expenses, and fixed asset accounting.
Collaborate with FP&A, operations, and other business partners on accounting-related matters.
Assist with the development and documentation of accounting policies and procedures.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
CPA or CPA-track preferred.
3-6+ years of progressive accounting experience.
Public accounting experience and/or financial services industry experience highly preferred.
Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting principles.
Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems.
Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Financial services, banking, investment management, wealth management, private equity, insurance, or related industry experience.
Experience supporting audits and month-end close processes.
Exposure to multi-entity accounting environments and complex financial reporting structures.
Experience identifying and implementing process improvements.
Competitive compensation of $95,000 - $105,000
