Commensurate with experience; plus excellent benefits General Description The Senior Accountant for the Texas Access to Justice Foundation performs a broad range of professional accounting functions, including maintaining financial records, preparing and analyzing financial reports, and supporting compliance with applicable accounting standards and organizational policies. Working with a high degree of independence, the position applies sound judgment and analysis to provide accuracy of financial information.

The role provides guidance and oversight to accounting staff through work review, knowledge sharing, and process improvement. This position is responsible for managing key accounting processes, preparing GAAP and GASB compliant financial statements, supporting grant and fund accounting activities, conducting grantee reviews and analyzing financial results. Success is reflected in strong internal controls, accurate financial reporting, and responsible stewardship of financial resources.
