Payroll Supervisor
LHH is partnering with a growing organization to identify an experienced Payroll Supervisor to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a payroll professional who thrives in a high-volume, multi-state environment and enjoys working independently while collaborating across multiple departments.
This role will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of payroll for a large employee population across multiple entities and all 50 states. The ideal candidate will bring strong ADP expertise, a hands-on approach to payroll, and the ability to effectively communicate with leaders throughout the organization.
Responsibilities- Process high-volume, multi-state payroll for 1,000+ employees across multiple entities.
- Utilize ADP to process payroll, troubleshoot issues, and maintain employee payroll records.
- Partner with managers, directors, and HR teams to resolve payroll-related questions and concerns.
- Review payroll data for accuracy, including earnings, deductions, taxes, garnishments, and benefits.
- Assist with payroll audits, reconciliations, and reporting requirements.
- Collaborate with payroll accounting resources to support payroll-related journal entries and month-end activities.
- Ensure payroll processes are completed within established deadlines.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and increased efficiency.
- Strong hands-on experience with ADP payroll systems.
- Extensive multi-state payroll experience.
- Proven success processing high-volume payrolls (1,000+ employees).
- Ability to independently manage payroll operations with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with managers and directors across the organization.
- Professional maturity, sound judgment, and strong problem-solving skills.
- Prior payroll lead or supervisory experience.
- Exposure to payroll accounting, including journal entries and month-end support.
- Experience working in large, complex payroll environments with multiple entities.
- Process improvement mindset and continuous improvement experience.
Pay Details: $90,000.00 to $ per year
