We are hiring an Accounting Manager to support our new partners with a successful transition to becoming a First Call operating company. This role will work closely with our Integration Controller to support a new company’s integration into First Call’s accounting organization for the first 90-100 days post-acquisition.

• Monthly financial reporting in accordance with US GAAP, including all journal entries, accruals and balance sheet reconciliation schedules
• Communication with 3rd party vendors on the Purchase Price Accounting and Quality of Earnings rollfoward
• Maintaining proper accounting procedures and controls and related documentation
• Working with office administration team and providing accounting guidance
• Implementing process improvements in the finance functions

This position will report to the Integration Controller.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• Minimum 7 years of relevant accounting and finance experience.
• Deep understanding of financial close process including the preparation journal entries, reconciliation schedules and financial statement package
• Deep understanding of percentage of completion (ASC 606) accounting
• High degree of professionalism and strong sense of ownership and pride in your work
• Experience with multiple accounting systems
• Background in trades environment: construction, electrical, HVAC, a plus
