Resi Brands is looking for a hands-on Senior Accountant who can take ownership of general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and month-end close across our growing organization.
We need someone with strong corporate accounting experience who enjoys getting into the details, resolving discrepancies, and making sure the numbers are accurate. You’ll help bring outstanding accounting work current while building processes that make the department more efficient as we grow.
This is a role for someone who can work independently, ask good questions, and follow issues through to resolution.
What You’ll Own- Manage general ledger activity
, including journal entries, accruals, prepaids, and account analysis. - Prepare and review balance sheet, bank, and credit card reconciliations, investigating discrepancies and resolving outstanding items.
- Take ownership of assigned month-end and year-end close responsibilities, keeping work accurate and on schedule.
- Review historical balances and transactions, identify gaps, and help bring outstanding reconciliations current.
- Support accurate accounting across multiple entities, including intercompany transactions and reconciliations.
- Prepare supporting schedules and assist with financial reporting.
- Partner with the accounting team and department leaders to resolve questions and obtain needed documentation.
- Improve accounting workflows, documentation, and controls, identifying opportunities to automate recurring work.
- Support audit and tax preparation requests as needed.
- At least 4 years of progressive accounting experience, with substantial responsibility for general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and month-end close.
- Strong corporate accounting fundamentals and a working knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
- Experience independently investigating account discrepancies and resolving them.
- Strong Excel skills and experience with accounting systems. Quick Books and Net Suite experience are preferred.
- Ability to manage competing priorities, communicate clearly, and meet deadlines.
- A hands-on approach and the confidence to take ownership with limited direction.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field preferred.
- Multi-entity accounting experience preferred; CPA a plus.
