The Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts is seeking Tax Auditors I–III to perform entry‑level tax audits and learn audit processes in a structured program. In-office training occurs for the first six months, with travel to training centers in Austin, Dallas, or Houston every ~3 weeks.
Teleworking is allowed after six months based on policy; annual audit training is required. Salary starts at state levels with progression through Tax Auditor I/II/III, contingent on qualifications.
