This role serves as the primary point of contact for residents, family, vendors, and visitors. Responsibilities include greeting visitors, recording guest information, routing telephone calls, handling community mail, performing basic clerical duties, and responding to resident emergencies by contacting appropriate parties per community protocol.

Base pay will be determined by applicant’s skills and experience. The role is also eligible for team‑based bonus opportunities. Temporary associates are not benefits eligible but may participate in the company’s 401(k) program. Veterans, transitioning active‑duty military personnel, and military spouses are encouraged to apply. Brookdale offers to advance fees for naturalization (Form N‑400) application costs, up to $725, for qualified associates who have been with us for at least a year.
Responsibilities- Greets all visitors entering the community, answers questions, ensures visitors sign guest sheets, and directs phone calls to the proper residents and staff.
- Sorts, delivers, and collects incoming/outgoing community and resident mail, and may be asked to perform basic office/clerical functions while maintaining visitor logs.
- Responds to resident emergencies by calling appropriate internal and external parties based on community protocol.
Required experience and skills include:
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency with administrative software and phone systems.
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
- Previous reception or customer‑service experience is preferred.
