Overview
Salary:
Up to $42,000 commensurate with experience

We are a small, client-focused law firm in Austin seeking a Receptionist & Office Support Coordinator to serve as the welcoming face of our office and provide day-to-day administrative and office support. This is an in-person role for someone who is organized, dependable, and comfortable handling a variety of front-desk and logistical tasks in a professional but approachable environment.

What You’ll Do- Greet clients and visitors and manage front-desk reception
- Answer, screen, and route incoming phone calls professionally
- Print, scan, and organize materials for client meetings
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, including tracking and distribution
- Make routine bank deposits and occasional in-person banking transactions
- Assist with scheduling and basic administrative support
- Open and close matters in our client management software
- Provide limited email management support for one attorney (organizing, flagging, and routing messages)
- Order office supplies, snacks, and kitchen items
- Keep shared spaces tidy, stocked, and client-ready
- Assist with basic internal matter tracking or reports as requested
- Electronically record deeds and other documents prepared by attorneys, following established procedures
- Monitor recording and tracking confirmations and flag issues for attorney review
- Provide light marketing and design support using Canva (e.g., formatting flyers, simple graphics, or client-facing materials based on direction provided)
- Provide light assistant support to a small office team as needed
This position does not involve:
- HR administration
- Cold calling/sales
- Giving legal advice

What We’re Looking For- Prior experience in a receptionist, front-desk, or office support role
- Comfortable handling confidential information with discretion
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Calm, friendly, and professional communication style
- Reliable and able to manage recurring tasks independently
- Tech-comfortable with email, calendars, scanning/printing, and office software
- High school diploma required; college degree not required
- Valid driver’s license and ability to run occasional local errands during work hours
- Small, respectful office: Five-person team where your work is visible and appreciated
- Predictable schedule: In-person role with regular weekday hours
- Stability: We are seeking a long-term team member
- Client connection: This role helps ensure clients experience a calm, organized, and welcoming office from the moment they contact us
- Up to $42,000 annual salary commensurate with experience
