Purpose: Provide accessibility review, remediation, and asset management support for UT Law CLE course materials used in live conferences, webinars, and on demand programming. This role ensures digital content meets required accessibility standards and is accurately cataloged in departmental systems.

Responsibilities
  • Accessibility Review & Remediation – Perform content level accessibility scanning and remediation for all materials submitted by speakers for approximately 3,040 live conferences and additional short format webinars each year. Review and correct accessibility issues in documents such as papers, PowerPoint decks, and supplemental resources (typically 13 items per presentation and 1,025 presentations per conference).
  • Add and/or correct accessibility components including alternative text for images, logical heading structure, reading order, and overall document readability and design. Audio/Video Quality Review – As needed conduct quality checks of recorded audio and video presentations and verify accuracy of companion transcripts and caption files for all conferences and webinars. Digital Asset Management – Upload, organize, and maintain electronic course materials within departmental Box folders.

    Catalog and track assets in the UT Law CLE proprietary Admin content management system.

Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree;
Five years of responsible level of experience in program administration or program coordination. Relevant experience in IT, information sciences, or digital accessibility management. Proficiency with Adobe Acrobat Pro, Adobe Premiere, Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, and general Microsoft Office Suite tools. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated organizational skills, attention to detail, and accuracy in file management. Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines.

Ability to learn and apply digital accessibility standards and remediation processes.

Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of accessibility standards such as WCAG 2.1/2.2, ADA, and Section 508. Degree in IT, Information or Library Sciences, or related field. Proven organizational and project management skills. Collaborative work style and strong interest in digital accessibility.

Hourly Rate: $22.00 + depending on qualifications

Work Shift
  • Hours per week – 40
  • Work hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Standard Monday-Friday work schedule; hours may vary based on project timelines and conference schedules.
