About True
We're a growing commercial concrete and steel construction firm with ~10 active projects and a strong pipeline of commercial work. We're building out our operations team for the first time and looking for a sharp, organized Project Coordinator to keep our projects moving and our PMs focused on the field — not the paperwork.
This is a foundational hire at the company. You'll work directly with our company leaders, operators and project managers across active and upcoming projects.
---
What You'll Do- Maintain organized project files: contracts, submittals, RFIs, change orders, lien waivers, and pay applications
- Track submittal and RFI logs; follow up with PMs, subs, and owners to keep things moving
- Support monthly pay application preparation and owner billings
- Manage the master project calendar: milestones, inspections, permit deadlines, owner meetings
- Coordinate subcontractor onboarding: scope confirmations, insurance certificates, agreements
- Handle day-to-day office operations and provide administrative support to the leadership team
- Assist the bookkeeper with expense documentation and project cost organization
---
What We're Looking For- 3+ years of administrative or project coordination experience — construction experience strongly preferred
- Strong with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace; picks up new software quickly
- Excellent written and verbal communication; you'll interact with owners, subs, and vendors regularly
- Detail-oriented and able to juggle multiple projects and deadlines without dropping anything
- Self-directed — you notice what needs attention and handle it without being asked
- Experience with Buildertrend, Procore, or similar construction management platforms
- Familiarity with AIA documents, lien waivers, or pay application processes
---
Benefits- $60,000–$72,000 based on experience
- Health insurance
- Simple IRA with company match
- 10 days PTO + standard holidays
- Real growth path as the company scales
