Job Description – Administrative Assistant (Austin) (826914)

E. 15th Street, Austin, Texas.
- Prepare and disseminate information concerning agency programs and services.
- Review forms for accuracy with acute attention to detail.
- Prepare, edit, and distribute correspondence, reports, studies, forms, and documents.
- Answer phones and professionally respond to email inquiries.
- Interpret rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
- Enter data in databases and Excel spreadsheets.
- Proof, review, and prepare various documents for processing or mailing.
- Perform other related work as assigned.
- Minimum of two years administrative assistant experience at journey-level, providing knowledge of administrative support functions and office practices and procedures.
- Proficiency with Windows-based PC programs, including Word, Outlook, and Excel.
- Experience with writing, emailing, and sending correspondence.
- Experience with data entry.
- Detail oriented quality check of documents.
- Ability to work with large amounts of data and numbers.
- Ability to interact effectively, cooperate, and collaborate with others in a team environment, multi‑task and meet deadlines.
- Relevant academic credits may be applied toward the required experience.
