A well-known financial firm is seeking a dynamic Office Coordinator to join their team on a temp-to-perm basis in Austin, TX
. Fully onsite, 5 days a week.
You will own the office—full stop. This is a single-person operation where you are the go-to for everything from daily operations and vendor management to executive visits and event coordination. No two days will look the same.
Day-to-day responsibilities include:- Managing all office operations, opening/closing procedures, and daily readiness
- Serving as the primary point of contact for employees, leadership, clients, and visitors
- Coordinating vendors including cleaning, maintenance, and IT/AV
- Managing office purchasing, expense tracking, and budgets
- Supporting leadership with administrative and project coordination tasks
- Executing meetings and events seamlessly, including catering coordination
- Maintaining SOPs and ensuring the office is always guest‑ready
4–7+ years of experience in office management, workplace experience, or facilities
Someone who thrives with little direction and manages ambiguity with ease
Strong self-management skills — you do not need to be micromanaged
A polished, people‑first communicator who can hold their own with executives and vendors alike
Experience working independently in a sole‑contributor environment is a strong plus
