Job SummaryThe Facilities Coordinator coordinates facility support services, inventory and asset management activities, and operational support functions for the agency, serving as liaison with state agencies and vendors, and assisting with compliance, inventory, property key control records, office needs, and facility projects.
Responsibilities- Coordinate facility support services, inventory and asset management activities, and operational support functions for the agency.
- Serve as a liaison with state agencies and vendors regarding facilities, property, and inventory-related matters and assist with maintaining compliance with state property management requirements and agency procedures.
- Coordinate inventory activities.
- Manage property and key control records.
- Support office and operational needs.
- Assist with facility-related projects and requests.
Ideal candidate is organized, customer service oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while supporting the agency’s mission and operational goals.
QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED equivalent and a minimum of three (3) years of full-time experience in facilities support, inventory control, property or asset management, complex administrative operations, or related operational support functions.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience coordinating facilities, property, inventory, or asset management activities within a Texas state agency or other governmental environment.
- Experience serving as a liaison with state agencies, vendors, or external business partners.
- Experience maintaining inventory records, asset tracking systems or property management databases.
- Experience coordinating office moves, furniture or equipment requests, facility repairs, or operational support services.
The PUCT operates on a standard work schedule of Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Employees may request an alternative work schedule in accordance with the PUCT's Alternative Work Schedule Policy. This position is not eligible for telecommuting and must be present in the office Monday – Friday.

SalarySalary commensurate with qualifications. The salary of an ERS Retiree or non-contributing member may be 6% less than the recommended salary.
