Position Summary

Statewide Digital Accessibility Program of the Chief Experience Office provides consultative services to state agencies and institutions of higher education. Responsibilities include collaborating with DIR staff to develop or enhance processes that advance digital accessibility goals for the state and improve the customer experience for DIR customers. Performs complex (journey-level) work, under general supervision, with limited latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgement.

The ideal student will have the ability to highlight their strengths in the following functions:

  • Reviews and creates presentation materials and updating master presentation materials
  • Edits and drafts program operating procedures for knowledge management
  • Documents notes at community events
  • Plans events for an annual digital accessibility conference
  • Collects and evaluates data
  • Researches use cases for AI improvements
  • Quality reviews for program one-pagers and leave-behinds
  • Performs other work-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications Education
  • A recent graduate, or a student currently enrolled in a college or university as an undergraduate or graduate, with a major or course work in business, media, communications, or a related field.
  • Must possess academic performance that is considered in good academic standing by college/university standards (High school diploma required).
