Office Administrator/ Coordinator
Our client, a residential and commercial roofing company located in North Austin, is seeking an Administrative Assistant to support their Accounting Manager. This individual will play a key role in maintaining organization and accuracy across accounting and administrative functions, contributing to the overall efficiency of the team.
This is a contract-to-hire opportunity that is fully onsite, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with a business casual dress code. The pay rate during the contract period is $20-$22 per hour. Upon conversion, the role offers a target base salary of $46,000, along with benefits, depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities- Print and organize various documents on a daily basis
- Enter purchase orders into the accounting system
- Assist with tracking and managing pending purchase orders
- Support internal inquiries by providing requested information
- Assist with coding invoices and credit memos
- Maintain organized filing systems for purchase orders and invoices
- Scan and upload purchase orders and invoices into the system
- Provide general clerical and administrative support as needed
- Previous administrative or accounting support experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with accounting systems is a plus
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
