Student Records Specialist

The Goodwill Excel Center Adult High School is currently recruiting for a Student Records Specialist for our Norwood Campus located at 1015 Norwood Park Blvd Austin, TX 78753.

The primary role of the Student Records Specialist is to manage and maintain student records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with district policies and state regulations.

Role and Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain student records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with district policies and state regulations.
• Assist with the registration process, including enrollment, scheduling, and course selection.
• Provide support for student data entry, updates, and retrieval.
• Coordinate with teachers and administrators to ensure all student information is up-to-date and accurate.
• Maintain confidentiality of student records and adhere to privacy laws and regulations.
• Support the administration with special projects and tasks as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Education, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience in a student records or administrative support role preferred.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and database management systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
