In this dynamic role, you will become the go-to expert for a wide range of operational areas, including budget management, legislative implementation, purchasing, consultant contract administration, and asset oversight.

As the BSC, you are part of the central nervous system of our divisions operations working on the team that ensures everything runs like a well‑oiled machine.

Oversees, plans and coordinates administrative and management services work to include various operational areas related to budget, accounting, legislative analysis, office support services to include equipment, facilities, purchasing and contract administration. Work requires contact with governmental agencies and private entities. Employees at this level establish their own work plan and priorities to meet set objectives. Issues are rarely referred to the supervisor but are handled at the occurrence.

Business

Services Coordinator I
  • Analyzes incoming correspondence, reports and other materials related to administrative areas; coordinates with appropriate personnel to initiate proper action.
  • Assists in developing, writing or revising contracts, amendments, procedures, forms, related documents and provisions.
  • Assists in implementing programs and coordinates responses to legislative direction and initiatives for business process improvements.
  • Assists in planning district budget needs utilizing program analysis.
  • Assists in reviewing and/or preparing routine contracts for accuracy, completeness and submission.
  • Coordinates administrative services for asset management, central files, facilities, grounds and open records request program.
  • Coordinates purchasing, warehousing and other administrative support functions with support center staff and/or Division staff; monitors budget activities.
  • Coordinates the compilation and preparation of operational and financial reports and analyses; tracks progress and adverse trends; makes recommendations.
  • Implements and interprets administrative policies and procedures.
  • Maintains liaison with all levels of administration and outside organizations to coordinate department business, accomplish directives and facilitate problem resolution.
  • Performs other job responsibilities as assigned.
