Oversees, plans and coordinates administrative and management services work to include various operational areas related to budget, accounting, legislative analysis, office support services to include equipment, facilities, purchasing and contract administration. Work requires contact with governmental agencies and private entities. Employees at this level establish their own work plan and priorities to meet set objectives. Issues are rarely referred to the supervisor but are handled at the occurrence.
BusinessServices Coordinator II
Oversees, plans, coordinates and directs administrative and management services work to include various operational areas related to budget, accounting, legislative analysis, office support services to include equipment, facilities, purchasing and contract administration. Work requires contact with governmental agencies and private entities. Employees at this level are virtually self-supervising and assume direct accountability for the work product.
Business Services Coordinator I- Implements and interprets administrative policies and procedures.
- Maintains liaison with all levels of administration and outside organizations to coordinate department business, accomplish directives and facilitate problem resolution.
- Analyzes incoming correspondence for the Division Director, reports and other materials related to administrative areas; coordinates with appropriate personnel to initiate proper action.
- Researches and analyzes schedules to coordinate meetings, produce correspondence, and meeting materials.
- Assists in forecasting short and long-term projections for multiple funding sources.
- Coordinates the management of IT assets and inventory, records, and open records requests.
- Coordinates Division purchasing functions.
- Serves as the Division's safety point of contact.
- Trains employees in agency administrative policy and procedure.
Performs other job responsibilities as assigned.
