Our client is a leader in autonomous vehicle technology, seeking skilled, safety‑focused professionals to support and maintain their cutting‑edge electric fleet. Based in Austin, TX, this full‑time, on‑site role offers the opportunity to work directly with groundbreaking mobility technology in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
As an Automotive Technician you’ll play a crucial part in ensuring vehicle safety, reliability, and performance through routine maintenance, inspections, and emergency response.
We’re looking for experienced technicians with electric vehicle knowledge who thrive in dynamic environments, value precision, and bring a proactive, safety‑first mindset to every task.

- Perform scheduled maintenance and inspections (brakes, fluids, tires, AC, etc.).
- Assess and document vehicle condition after road incidents.
- Complete minor on‑site repairs and coordinate larger repairs with partner service centers.
- Support field operations, including vehicle evacuations and towing.
- Transport vehicles for service, repairs, and detailing.
- Monitor vehicle systems, report issues, and ensure readiness for daily operations.
- Maintain fleet and shop cleanliness, safety, and compliance.
- Prior experience as an automotive technician or similar mechanical role.
- Strong understanding of vehicle systems, diagnostics, and repair practices.
- Clean driving record and valid Texas driver’s license.
- Detail‑oriented, safety‑focused, and able to work independently.
- Comfortable working around advanced autonomous vehicle technology.
- Previous experience with electric vehicles.
- Familiarity with EV‑specific systems, diagnostic tools, or certifications.
- Experience in fleet or high‑volume service operations.
- Competitive hourly pay: $24.00 – $28.00/hr

This is a full‑time, one‑year contract role based in Austin, TX. Candidates must be local and available to work onsite.
Shift Options- 1st Shift: Mon–Fri, 7AM–3PM
- 2nd Shift: Mon–Fri, 2PM–10PM
- Weekend Shift: Sat–Sun, 10AM–10PM
