Job Title
Lexus of Austin, a Penske Automotive Group dealership, is looking for experienced Mainline Technicians and Used Car Technicians to join our team and deliver extraordinary customer experiences.

Whether your expertise is in mainline service, diagnostics, or used vehicle reconditioning, you'll perform repairs and maintenance in accordance with factory and dealership standards while helping deliver an exceptional ownership experience.
What We Are Looking For- Experience as a Mainline Technician, Automotive Technician, Used Car Technician, Reconditioning Technician, Diagnostic Technician, Flat Rate Technician, or ASE Certified Technician.
- Dealership experience preferred with 3+ years of automotive repair experience.
- Experience performing diagnostics, maintenance, and mechanical repairs on domestic, import, or luxury vehicles.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills with safe working knowledge of shop equipment and diagnostic tools.
- Brand experience is preferred but not required.

Perform quality repairs, diagnostics, maintenance, and vehicle reconditioning in accordance with manufacturer and dealership standards. - Commitment:
Deliver a world-class service experience by completing repairs accurately and efficiently the first time. - Communication:
Clearly communicate repair recommendations and technical findings with Service Advisors and dealership personnel. - Accountability:
Complete repairs within manufacturer time standards while maintaining accurate repair orders and documentation. - Safety:

Supervisory Responsibility None
Work Environment Will primarily work in an automotive shop environment. Workspace is covered but may involve various weather conditions such as heat and cold as well as safety hazards due to the nature of work. May experience loud noise on a regular basis.
Physical Demands Medium/Heavy Work---Will lift over 50 pounds with assistance device required and/or frequent lifting or carrying of objects weighing up to or over 35 pounds with assistance device available as needed. This position will require the employee to be standing for prolonged periods of time. This position requires the ability to push, pull, climb, stoop, kneel, reach, grasp, and walk on a regular basis.
This position involves repetitive motion. This position requires the ability to talk and hear. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work Work evening, weekend, and holiday work hours as required.
Required Education and Experience High school diploma or the equivalent and two-year related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred
Education and Experience Associate's degree (A.
A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; and two-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Additional Eligibility Qualifications (Certification/Licenses/Registrations) ASE Certification is preferred
