Role
As a Junior Automotive Technician, you will perform basic automotive diagnostics and repairs, including oil changes, tire services, brake work, suspension, and alignments. You will utilize multi-point inspections, document vehicle conditions, and conduct safety and emission inspections where applicable. Adherence to safety procedures, company policies, and ethical standards is essential.
Responsibilities Include- Performing mechanical repairs suited to experience level
- Conducting tire mounting, balancing, and rotation
- Carrying out fluid changes, oil changes, and basic services
- Using inspection tools and documenting vehicle conditions accurately
- Following safety protocols and reporting hazards
- Working with flexible schedules and supporting team needs
- Minimum 2 years of automotive technician experience
- Proficiency with diagnostic equipment
- Valid driver’s license; ability to obtain a State Inspector License preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Ability to work in a noisy environment with exposure to dust, fumes, and chemicals. Physical requirements include standing, bending, lifting up to 70 pounds, and good vision. Reasonable accommodations are available for individuals with disabilities.
