Automotive Technician, Automotive Mechanic
Join a dynamic automotive team as a Junior Automotive Technician, responsible for performing basic repairs, diagnostics, and maintenance services. Key duties include oil changes, tire mounting/dismounting, wheel balancing, brake and suspension repairs, and conducting safety and emission inspections where applicable. You will utilize diagnostic equipment, document vehicle conditions, adhere to safety protocols, and follow company policies. The role requires demonstrating mechanical skills, working with computerized diagnostic tools, and maintaining safety standards in various environmental conditions.
- Perform mechanical repairs based on experience level
- Conduct tire services and basic vehicle maintenance
- Utilize inspection and repair documentation tools
- Follow safety procedures and company policies
- Work flexible hours, including weekends as needed
- At least 2 years of automotive technician experience
- Proficiency with diagnostic equipment
- Valid driver’s license; ability to obtain a State Inspector License preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Ability to stand for long periods, bend, lift up to 70 pounds, and work in noisy, dusty, and varying temperature conditions. Use of PPE may be required. Reasonable accommodations can be provided for individuals with disabilities.
